FED-UP VOTERS AGREE TO DISSOLVE VIRGINIA TOWN.(MAIN)

CASTLEWOOD, Va. -- Voters were so fed up with local taxes, fees and traffic tickets that they decided Tuesday to dissolve the town government.

``The town should never been formed in the first place and we don't want it,'' said Mayor Roy Castle. ``It was double taxation without representation.''

Nearly all the adults in the southwest Virginia town voted in the referendum, with 749 in favor of discarding the town charter and 622 against.
