NSW: Opposition pledges to pay govt bills within 30 days
SYDNEY, Feb 23 AAP - A coalition government in NSW would pay the bills on time, Opposition
Leader Barry O'Farrell says.
He's pledged that state government accounts would be paid within 30 days - otherwise
penalty interest would be charged.
He revealed on Monday that on December 31 last year, NSW Health owed a staggering $132
million in unpaid bills.
The debt included a total of 75,414 bills unpaid for more than 45 days.
