NSW: Caitlin loved life, mourners at storm funeral hear
SYDNEY, Dec 7 AAP - The father of one of two teenage girls killed in a wild Sydney
storm remembered his daughter for her love of life at her funeral today.
Caitlin Twible, 15, and her friend Karie Yu, 15, were killed when a tree felled during
the storm on Monday crashed down on the tent they were sheltering in.
The pair were camping at Crosslands Reserve at Hornsby Heights, in Sydney's north,
when the storm swept through the area.
At the funeral, Caitlin's father Jeff said his daughter should be remembered with joy.
"She loved being involved in everything and would try all things on offer.
"Caitlin loved to sing and dance and dress up," he told the hundreds of mourners at
Castle Hill Baptist Church.
Hundreds of students from William Clarke College where Caitlin was a pupil attended her funeral.
