Jul. 12--It's not exactly a buyer's market -- yet -- for Central Oregon housing.
It's certainly not a seller's market anymore, either.
The best term RE/MAX Equity Group broker David Foster could find for it in his monthly Internet analysis this month was, fittingly enough, an "adjusting market."
And what it will adjust to is still, at this point, anyone's guess.
Median home prices continued to shoot up through the end of June this year throughout the region, posting numbers that -- on the surface -- seemed to echo the boom months of 2005.
Bend's median home price reached $343,950 for the year so far, up 33.3 percent from the first six months of last year, according to the Central
Oregon Multiple Listings Service, which released its second-quarter data Tuesday.
Redmond's median reached $255,153, up 45.3 percent.
